Cinnamon slipper sandals
Cinnamon is a derivative of the cinnamon tree: its perfume comes from the oil in the bark of the tree. Cinnamon is cultivated in Vietnam and one of its qualities is that it absorbs humidity.
These cinnamon slipper sandals are made by Vietnamese artisans. The cinnamon is placed in a layer between the upper material and the sole of the slippers in order to absorb perspiration and add a feeling of softness. The material is a sturdy embroidered cotton and the inner is made from sea grass, a straw-like material.
