Cinnamon slippers (open-toe model)
Cinnamon derives from the cinnamon tree: its perfume comes from the oil in the bark of the tree. Cinnamon is cultivated in Vietnam and one of its recognised qualities is that it absorbs humidity.
These cinnamon slippers are made by Vietnamese artisans. The cinnamon is placed in a layer between the upper material and the sole of the slipper in order to absorb perspiration and give a feeling of softness. The sole is made from a reasonably hard-wearing synthetic rubber.
