Cinnamon slippers (closed-toe model)
Cinnamon comes from the bark of the cinnamon tree. Cinnamon has been known of since the begining of time. Its perfume derives from the oil it contains. Cinnamon is harvested by hand in Vietnam. One of its recognised qualities is that it absorbs humidity.
These cinnamon slippers are made by hand by Vietnamese artisans. The cinnamon is placed in a layer between the upper material and the sole of the slippers in order to absorb perspiration. It also adds a feeling of softness. The sole is made from a reasonably hard-wearing synthetic rubber.
